What's on your mind?

Anybody know if the UA Laser II's with the pitchers toe are durable?

When my package for the new Diamond Gems went out for return (to change color), they weighed 2.9 lbs for the package including the box and wrapping. That would mean the cleats weigh about a pound each.

Just weighed DD's diamond gems with pitcher's toe (even though she's not a pitcher) 14.75 oz Size 8 or so.

I guess it is a matter of taste, but DD always wore the heavier Ringors and she was pretty fast down the line (not elite, but respectable.)

I wear the identical field shoes and I like the fact that they protect my foot and toes. And they give a lot of support.

Some cleats that I have tried on recently offered no more toe protection than soccer shoes.

I think if DD finds cleats that she likes, you should buy at least 2 pairs, because it seems like a good pair is always hard to find, again.

I tried on a lot of cleats yesterday and finally found a decent pair that are Nike's, but they were in the men's section. They are so narrow, I can't imagine a man wearing them. So, it pays to look at the men's cleats, too.

Why is it that most of the kids who wear Ringors are slow?
Wearing shoes that are heavier are just going to increase the problem...

My kid has some decent speed to her, and she loves her Ringors. She pitches too and we found the only cleat that lasted longer than a few months were the Ringor's. With the new Diamond Gems, they are much lighter for her and she loves them. They give her really great supports and are much lighter than the Diamond Stars.

She wore her metal spikes last night and it was a little different for her. She had to get used to pitching with them on. Now she has a pair of molded and spikes and loves them both.
