I have but one request...
The Pub is still a no holds barred free for all slam dance of ideas, while not caring about feelings or offending anyone.
The softball part should always be civil, constructive, insightful.

I second Hare's request for The Pub and generally agree with his attitude about the softball portions. Newbies and old timers alike should refrain from being the first to show disrespect to the other (e.g. old timers are free to show disrespect to each other).

Newcomers are the lifeblood of the site. Regulars should help out the ones that need it and old timers should keep an open mind about the current state they're reporting. Otherwise, things are really slow and we're relegated to people retelling old stories.

I have chosen, for the most part, to take ASA's view on your PGF pseudo-(Cali) national vacation get-together to sucker the rest of the country into coming to a prepaid (for Cali that is) showcase where ASA doesn't acknowledge it exists. Although, I will acknowledge PGF more than ASA does every once in a while just for fun. I know you didn't mention PGF but that is the underlying reasons for the ridiculous posts you make about this most of the time because that is obviously your main purpose on this site.
