You can say the money is going to the organization, but isn't the organization made up of the player's families? And if not, why would the players and families play in a tournament in order to fatten the wallets of the organization head?
Maybe I am missing something, I am just killing time here in the hotel room before going out to watch my kid play some college ball.

Some very gray area in that prize money...
Im with DD on this...Im just ready for Travel ball season starts...then send my beloved offspring North in August to college...and college ball / life
(we plan on moving right after that and not giving her new address)
