I never registered for a camp because I was never convinced it was "LEGIT" BUT I guess I was on the email tree and received this email. What a rip off.

Legit Softball, LLC
Month Day, Year
Greetings!

Please read and try and understand for a minute the situation at hand.
Today
The Camp Business I started in June 2012 is in the midst of legal proceedings that have caused myself, my family, my friends, and those I associate with a lot of pain recently. This is my issue, I understand.

What I'm asking you all to understand that this is not a St Louis Esprit issue. To continue to harass and contact coaches/families/players within the St Louis Esprit Organization is not right and fruitless.

To contact my children through their Twitter accounts, email, cell phone is also not right.

For every family out there who paid for a camp and is awaiting a refund, there are 50 families who walked through the camp and had a great experience. Over 1400 girls attended our camps throughout the years.

To attack me and the people around me with business related issues is reckless and malicious. They do not deserve what you guys are throwing their way. Take a step back and let's deal with the issue at hand, which is not contacting a 12U Esprit Coach trying to get answers.

The St Louis Esprit is NOT affiliated with these camps. Yes, I coached with the Esprit for 8 summers.

Please take a step back and understand what you are doing to people who do not know what the heck you're talking about and even if they did, they could offer no answers for you.

The Camps I ran for 18 months were good. They were good because they were attended by a lot of coaches who were compensated very well REGARDLESS OF HOW THAT IMPACTED MY BOTTOM LINE. This was done simply to make sure the girls had a camp and the coaches got to work with them. It was a poor business model and even worse idea on my end.

I could NOT do that this summer. I could not have camp after camp that did not meet expenses. When the camps did not register to a break even point, I had little choice but to cancel.

PLEASE STOP
So, I am asking you to please stop contacting innocent people who have NOTHING to do with this situation. It is only hurting the process. Again, these people did nothing wrong. Leave them alone!

Andrew has a problem. It seems kind of douchey to be contacting innocent Esprit team coaches about this, but maybe the people who have been ripped off can't get any traction any other way.
Anybody who is sending texts, emails, or tweets to Andrew's kids needs to stop. That ain't right.

Agreed, but it seems that people have not had any of their e-mails or calls returned regarding their refunds, so people have resorted to other avenues of communication. Maybe if he had been upfront with his clients, they wouldn't have resorted to such tactics. Is it just me, but does that letter seem to make himself look like a victim of the situation?

It has now been over 2 months, and no refund. Andy Heifner will not return any of my emails, or phone calls. I have seen the post from koliver0919. What can we do?

A victim of not being able to pull it off with a profit, so the profit was just taken.
