Drug prohibition is based on the idea that the government owns your body, so it's no surprise that police would be willing to have someone raped when in search of drugs.

The articles use the nice sounding euphemism calling it a forced medical procedure but the officers, the judge, and medical personnel who unconstitutionally and immorally performed these examinations without his consent basically raped this man. What if it was you, your daughter, a loved one?
This is what a police state looks like. Maybe they should have tried waterboarding too.
This is happening all over our country, Not some sharia third world Muslim backwater.

Safe..
Storm Clouds Gathering creates a series of anti-authoritarian anti-fascist videos. You could call them libertarian if you need a label.

Have you ever seen the movie Compliance?
If not , I highly recommend it. Since you post here you obviously have a daughter. If she is over 13 she should watch too. It is an extremely difficult movie to watch but it has a very important message. Ask your daughter what she would do in the same situation. I asked my 19YO and was very surprised by her answer.

The movie is based on a true story and it illustrates The Psychology of Authority

What do you think of the new armored vehicle acquired by the Northwest Regional SWAT team? Its called a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle, originally designed for use in distant battlefields. It cost taxpayers over $400,000, weighs about 16 tons, has gun ports on the sides and a gun turret on the roof.

U.S. Rep. Pete Visclosky (D) was responsible for outfitting local police the military vehicle, according to Merrillville police Cmdr. Robert Wiley. Isn't it cool?

Special Christmas present for Salinas PD......a town with a population of about 150,000. Because you never know when a terrorist might ambush the lettuce fields with land mines.

Just wondering...Do you see a MRAP as a weapon? The same as... say a....Bradley?

This is how I see an MRAP...from an article in Military Times.

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. — Coming soon to your local sheriff: 18-ton, armor-protected military fighting vehicles with gun turrets and bulletproof glass that were once the U.S. answer to roadside bombs during the Iraq war.

The hulking vehicles, built for about $500,000 each at the height of the war, are among the biggest pieces of equipment that the Defense Department is giving to law enforcement agencies under a national military surplus program.

For police and sheriff’s departments, which have scooped up 165 of the mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles, or MRAPS, since they became available this summer, the price and the ability to deliver shock and awe while serving warrants or dealing with hostage standoffs was just too good to pass up.

“It’s armored. It’s heavy. It’s intimidating. And it’s free,” said Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple, among five county sheriff’s departments and three other police agencies in New York that have taken delivery of an MRAP.
http://www.militarytimes.com/article/20 ... raq-trucks

In spite of what these police departments say, these unnecessary vehicles are NOT free. They are part of the ever-increasing and unpayable national DEBT. They are part of the waste, fraud and abuse that is the military-industrial-surveillance complex.

On government "gifts"...

While I can see your point, had you rather these vehicles be DEMIL? At least they are getting some use now.

Blackwidow if you combine:
1) the DHS (dept of Homeland Security) stockpile purchase of hundreds of millions of rounds of ammo with military grade weapons & vehicles to local, regional & state police
2)Govt taking our guns, our rights, abusing power, lying to the people
3)Wall Streets so out of wack (controlled by the Fed) the heights of stocks that WILL eventually fall
4)followed by the collapse of the petro dollar replace by China's whatever
What do you get?

Revolution ? no why? because the govt has turned people into sheep, eliminated the middle class & we are left with a police state

will it happen in our lifetime?
