Our public schools suck.
I am sure if he was wearing a t-shirt with a pic of two dudes holding each other's junk he would be praised of being brave for coming out. Might even get a call from the prez.

Making the opposing argument:
The school has a zero gun tolerance. This means any shirt showing a gun is disruptive.
The shirts may vary, but the rule remains the same. This will include,Yosemite Sam holding guns to even Wounded Warrior shirt (gun in pic). No article of clothing may have a gun on it.
We are not against the 2nd Amendment or the NRA. The fact that the shirt had the picture of an AR-15 is unacceptable.
Had the student worn a shirt that said "the second protects the first" or NRA would be tolerated.
However,,,
No clothing shall be offensive to any person or persons in school, this will be subject to and not including review.

This school is a gun free zone. Which to every body who attends, means no guns of any size, shape or flavor.
No matter how delicious.
It is at this delicate age that we as a community must guide our children in a nurturing non threatening enviroment.
Your a parent with a child with ADD should understand the sensitive nature of this.
Even the word gun draws alarms from other children. Do you have any idea the panic we will receive from other parents finding out YOUR son was playing with a gun in class, regardless of what it is made of.
Now we have notified Child Protective Services who will be notifying you.
Now Mrs. Obama would like to talk to you about nutrition, and what treats are aloud in school. Surely even YOU can remember that if you don't have some for everybody then it is not fair.
Mr. DD honestly, if you do not get a handle on this now, who knows what kind of monster you will create.
Perhaps if you go through our guidance counselor and school phycholigist and therapist, we may talk about your kids future in public school.
And further more we will require your son to enroll in the government school nutrition plan. You obviously know nothing about what is acceptable and what is crazy right wing danger.

Pop tarts have stop making the ivory pistol grip model, and have added a red dye to frosting.
Remington has started making a rainbow sprinkle stock shot gun.
Croisant guns have popped up at Everyone Wins Grammar School.
A banana holster was seen on a student at It Takes a Village Unified School District.
A softball player named "bam bam" has been ejected from a HS game. Her dad was arrested after yelling her name.
We politicly correct left wing loons know what is best for you and your kind.
