12u - Who accepted a berth to ASA Nationals?

by JustPlayTheGame » Mon Jun 03, 2013 10:22 am

Saw a number of teams that qualified for ASA Nationals at the SoCal State tournament also have qualified for Premier Nationals. Who is going where?

Corona Angels Tyson
Artesia Punishers
Firecrackers - Araujo

You can bet that the winner of both PGF and ASA Nationals are going to emblazen "NATIONAL CHAMPIONS" on their website. PGF is the wave of the future. At 12U, either title and $2.95 will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

Couldn't agree more Spazdad. Don't think you can replace that experience. Come 14U all of that will change.

Girls can also get a lot out of making friends with teams from other parts of the country staying at their hotel. Our team got quite chummy in IL with a team from GA.

We were fortunate to be able to do both last year, finished PGF at 9pm and off to Moline at 6am.
ASA in second year 10's and second year 12's is a great experience, 14's changes everything.
Moline weather wasn't as bad with the clouds and rain, Alabama the year before was HOT!
FYI adjust your hour and a half warm up to compensate for the weather. Catchers tend to overheat before the game even gets started.
