I am sure this happened a lot. Watch the short video by the local Ohio news station.

Remember the movie The Mummy...but now the quasi-Zombies say Obamahotep, Obamahopep, Obamahotep...

Worst POTUS in every measurable category, jobs, economy, debt...with zilch to show for accumulating 10+ trillion dollars in red ink...and pretty much nobody 'getting better'...except the Socialist Unions and Special interests

So ... Only Democrats are guilty of voter fraud ? ... As dumb as you portray Democrats, it is amazing they built a country wide scam to defeat Bush & Romney ... Or maybe Republicans need to evolve to the changing demographics and stop searching for an invalid birth certificate ... JMO

This seems to be the situation:

1) Democrats fear voters not being allowed to vote. Fear voter ID efforts are designed to prevent people from voting(believe it is aimed at minorities)

2) Republicans fear voter fraud. Like the kind of stuff pulled by Tammany Hall or Old Style Chicago politics

The reality is that except for some isolated instances, neither has really happened. Despite the justice dept. "investigating" and making some of the voter id programs look like old time "Jim Crow" poll taxes- the fact is the Supreme Court has up held them. Also many of the "turned away" voters were elegible to vote(citizenship,, felon) signed up by either ignorant or over-zealous volunteers. Should we be worried about "stealing the vote"- not really, unless we want to sound like post Bush/Gore Democrats. Should we remain vigilant-of-course!

Voter fraud happens all the time. Is it enough to turn a national election? Dont know, but when you have a party suggesting that no ID is needed, that is a problem.

I have often thought that to put both sides in their place, we should link voter ID and gun buying ID. In other words, whatever standard both sides can agree to will apply equally to both acts - voting, and buying a firearm.

It is hard for me to imagine that the potential consequences of a stolen election are no less important than the potential consequences of another fraudulently purchased assault rifle.

I think you might have something. In this age of polarization- REAL compromise that makes sense!

Voting (at least for the President) is not a right. See Bush v Gore. If one is allowed to vote, one simply cannot be discriminated against for race, creed, sex, religion, or national origin. Keeping and bearing arms IS a right.
