Just need some help with DD. She wants to go watch some of the top 16U catchers during live games to see how they control the game at this age. She has started catching in just the past couple of years, she feels this will be of great help. If we can get some advice of a few teams with good catchers to go watch during a game, it would be greatly appreciated. I know some of you really know who is worth watching for this in So Cal.
Thanks!!

Watched her this year at PGF in a few games and just plays the game the right way. She is very confident and gives 100% all the time. You couldn't go wrong having your daughter watch her catch a game or two.
And no, she's not my kid !

My question is why 16u? We are still developing even at this level. You should take her to see 18G and College.

yes watch them in a game mode. We just felt since we are moving up to 16U next season it would be good to see girls at that age. We are also going to see some 18U as well. Thanks for the help.

Not sure what her name is, but the catcher for Jeff Blanco's 16u FC team is a stud. She is a great role model for a young catcher to emulate. JMO

Totally agree with Sid regarding Blanco's catcher. She is one of the best. Two others to watch are on Firecrackers Kay, #14 Kaylee Ellebracht and #16 Kayleen Shafer. Both girls play the game with passion and love to compete.
