Off topic. Home for jokes and other misc. stuff.
Keep it reasonable.

The left is once again trying to spin this into something it is not and using the age old "class warfare" angle.

I agree that going either way there are a certain percentage of peeps that are going to vote along their party lines no matter what ... But, that is not what he said ... He spoke foolishly about the 47% who do not pay Fed Income Tax ... And many of those do not pay Fed Income Tax because of the earned income tax credit which was started by Reagan ... Others are Seniors, Poor etc etc ... But if employed still pay payroll taxes etc. ...
BTW, I know a family whose children are getting welfare and food stamps fraudulently and have a Romney sign on their front yard ...
In my opinion the 2 best Republican Candidates are not running for President ... One couldn't keep Mr Happy in his pants and the other will be running in 4 years ...

I'm always curious why Dems think Reps pay no taxes.
I'm even more curious if this is true why there are any Dems left.

Not what I said Hose Head ... And I am not a Dem. Rep, Ind, Lib or what ever ... I spoke about the 47% that Romney was referring to ... He mis-spoke, was mis-informed or just plain wrong ...

What Romney said about the 47% was 100% true. And any body with an iq over his age knows he wasnt talking about retired elderly. The social security and medicare they are receiving - they paid for - that is not an entitlement.

Mr. Inattentive
I wanted to write a rebuttal to your manifesto, but maybe a picture of the 47% might be more helpful. No way in hell do these losers vote for Romney, so why bother. But they sure love the products the "53%" produce and invest in.

Why pander to the populace who will never vote for him? It is not cost effective....

The 47% that don't pay Fed Income Tax is a well known stat and thats what he was using ... I'm quite sure that he wasn't intentionally attacking the elderly ... He probably wasn't attacking many who are included in that group ... But then, if you start sorting them out it no longer adds up to 47% ... I believe he was trying to make a point that would be popular with the group he was speaking to and stuck his foot in his mouth ...

Aside from that ... There are probably 47% that will vote Republican and 47% that will vote Democratic no matter what ... The candidates then try to sway the vote of the remaining 6%, in my opinion.

* And again I say that I know a family that receives food stamps and welfare ( fraudulently - I believe ) who have a Romney sign on their front yard ...

The sad part of that statement - is that its rare enough to mention. I can show you damn near entire districts and even towns - where the opposite is true.

God help us all.

I'm sure there are towns & districts where the opposite is true ... The fraudulant part may or may not be rare ... My real point was that there are people who are benefiting from a system who will vote for a candidate who opposes it ... As in cutting off your nose to spite your face ... In some cases it may be because they are ignorant, voting along party lines or because they feel very passionate about one particular thing, like abortion.

I am positive that the opposite is not and will not ever be true. And the fraudulant part is not rare. But it doesnt exist just in the realm of the traditional multi-generation welfare sucks, its also in the realm of the liars and cheaters that are riding the disabled gravy train. I see every day of my life - people whose entire income - comes from the us govt tit (i.e. us) - and I should say, maybe not everyday because I spend a lot of time working and building my business - while these are out fishing, or visiting at their little ranchito working on their hunting blinds.

I just wasted 5 minutes I will never get back.
