Funny, like most of us, he became involved in girls softball when he didn't say no when someone asked him for help.
I guess some call if Daddy Ball, and it is the reason most girls are able to start playing as kids.

We were able to play Mr Simmons a few times over the years and he had a great attitude with his players. Good coach on the field and I am sure friends with many on and off the field.
