I'm not the one throwing thousands of dollars at a game. Then again, if you didn't throw so much money into the "game", maybe you would have enough to take a nice relaxing vacation to some part of this country and actually incorporate some educational events for the children.

Remember when you had an excuse why the lawn looked like crap - because you were in Huntington Beach (more recently a healthy sprinkling of Hemet) every weekend and in Colorado for a week, Okalhoma Ctty OK, Normal IL, Norman OK, Beaumont TX, Johnson City TN, Seattle WA (that was a pretty cool trip actually), Johnson City TN. That's all off the top of my head.

DD1 in finals finishing her Jr year and DD2 back from her freshman year. Maybe a few weekends of local 23U, tryouts this week, but otherwise ...

Lawn is manicured,
Oil is changed,
Drip irrigation line leaks are fixed,
Pool chemistry is optimized,
Really have to look to find any weeds,
Had to pound in 8 ft tall spikes standing on top of a ladder with a sledge hammer to make sure the new trees survive any wind,
Actually considering waxing my truck (80k miles on it).

This sucks!

It will pretty cool having both girls home for summer, though! PIck up older DD on Father's Day. UHaul trailer reserved.
