Keilani Ricketts named USA Softball Collegiate Player of the

The junior was recognized Tuesday night during the opening banquet for the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City. Ricketts helped OU qualify for the World Series with 33 wins, 393 strikeouts and a 0.99 earned run average. She is just as dangerous with the bat, ranking 11th in the country in on-base percentage (.558) and 13th in slugging percentage (.841).
Ricketts’ sister, Samantha, was a Player of the Year candidate when she played at Oklahoma.
The fourth-ranked Sooners open WCWS play at noon Thursday against South Florida.

There were several young ladies deserving the award. If your name was being talked about for the award then obviously you are a great athlete. Congrats to all nominees.

Ms Ricketts is absolutely pnenominal and a true pleasure to watch unless you are a batter facing her! Hell all the Rickett girls are unbelievable.
