TNL Coach Released - Mistrial Declared

What's on your mind?

by FPF1234 » Tue Sep 16, 2008 9:02 am

What reaction should the softball community have if he returns to coaching TNL? Look having an opinion on this board and convicting this man in the court of public opinion on a personal belief that he is guilty is one thing. To actually take that a step further and have a reaction when you actually see the man on the field or at the park is totally another. Again, the people who deal with him have no issues trusting their kids with him, they don't believe that he did anything wrong, it is their choice to allow their kids to play for him and NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! If you feel as though he did it, and is a predator, and is all the nasty things that they say on this board, that is cool, it is America, you have that right to have your opinion, and obviously your kid will not be playing for him or TNL, which is cool. But you can not make your opinion that of the TNL organization or the people that allow their kids to play for him, because on the flip side they are allowed to have their opinion as well, and they are obviously of the opinion that he is a viable option as a coach and they have no issues with his character or behavior. YOUR OPINION IS JUST THAT, YOURS. And you can feel sorry for them, or tell them to be careful, or what ever you want but they don't seem to worried about it, and that is their choice.

If he is, then good for him, good luck.

It is certainly a manager's choice as to whether or not they play TNL....they could end up inviting college coaches to come see them play....intersquad games.

Sam

That's an interesting thought, all the softball organizations just decide to not play TNL. I wonder how many organizations think CF did it. I wonder if they would have the character / principles to follow up on that by refusing to play them.
I'm pretty sure that CF is back to coaching and running TNL. I'm pretty sure he thinks that he beat the system and everything is back to normal. I have to agree with FP1234 on one thing. It is their parents choice to do what they want with their kids

Wow, what if this guy is innocent, and this chick was lying the whole time, amazing that is not even up for fathom ability, when it is certainly a possibility. Regardless to past history or not, apparently what ever has transpired in the past does not bother the TNL parents or the organization so why should it bother you. MIND YOUR BUSINESS and everything will be just fine, if you don't want your kid to play TNL then don't let em play its that simple. Just amazing, he is guilty because you say he is guilty, regardless, like this young lady is incapable of lying or not telling the truth, PLEASE!

So let me see if I've got this straight. If I have an opinion, it's my opinion, whereas if someone else has an opinion, it's theirs. And if I make a choice, it's my choice, but if someone else makes a choice, it's theirs.

How profound...FPF, we'd be lost here without you.

Its a grand concept aint it Skarp! If more people actually got it the world would be a better place, but unfortunately hardly anyone gets it and people will have always have something to say, or have an opinion on something they actually know very little about.

Yep...and it's everyone else's choice to react how they see fit--including whether to avoid playing them, or whether they react to CF's presence at the field, etc.

Apparently freedom of choice and opinion only extend, on FPF's view, as far as his own choices and opinions. Otherwise it's "NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS."

Now that is funny, I doubt very seriously that any of these folks who hide behind these computers and anonymous talk boards are going to come out in person and have anything to say to this man at the first GOLD tournament they see him at. And a boycott, in CA? Yeah right, I can see it now, headlines "TNL goes undefeated in Lancaster qualifier because no body shows up".....Yeah right, some how I think the idea of a boycott is the same as the idea that someone will actually have something to say....JUST EMPTY TALK.
