TNL Coach Released - Mistrial Declared

What's on your mind?

FPF1234 - GDAD - TNL KOOL AID drinkers

I heard that NC rescinded their offer upon hearing about this situation, but I might have that wrong. Can the TNL Kool Aid crowd confirm that? If so, CF is baaaack with his family.
There's an old saying that goes something like "if it looks like a turd and it smells like a turd, it IS a turd." Facione's character, morals and ethics should be considered when trying to make a judgement about him. Just because the prosecution couldn't prove it effectively, when you take into account the whole picture - that he has been accused of sexual misconduct in the past, but the parents decided to not put themselves and their kid through it. ( Can you blame them, considering what the victim went through with the female attack dog lawyer ). All you have to do is connect the dots. It isn't that hard, so I have to assume it must be the Kool Aid.
No, I didn't say that Facione has had sex with ALL those kids. After all, he would probably select the ones that would be his "type" ... right? Maybe your kids weren't his type. Did that ever occur to you? Maybe you were lucky he didn't select your kid. I would suspect he HAS had sex with a couple of them. Think about this. What a perfect environment for a sexual predator to operate. He can select the ones he is interested in, based on their looks, and whether he felt they would be susceptible to him. How would he know that? Easy. He engages them in all manner of conversations through the texting and inviting them over, to talk about all their life's problems. He then decides who he would like to make an advance to. Does that scenario seem outlandish to you? Maybe a psychologist can jump in here and give us the technical term for this phenomena, but basically it isn't that hard to prey on a young girls weaknesses. Maybe he promises a college scholarship, using his position immorally.
They may not have proved it in a court of law, but if it looks like a turd and smells like a turd, it is a turd. BTW, there are many more TNL stories out there. Maybe you inside TNL people can share them all with everybody, so there is an even better picture for everybody.

Now I understand where you are coming from, it was difficult, but now its clear.

Sure, it is easy to see where I'm coming from, the LA Police where in such a rage and so upset that this rich, arrogant, a-hole, black man murdered this beautiful white woman that they decided to toss the book out the window and do what they figured was ensuring a conviction by planting evidence. If they had a just followed the book, and done things the right way, OJ would be rotting in jail right now on his way to hell for what he did to those poor people. None the less, the mans an idiot and will eventually end up where he belongs.

Fascinating, first off, I currently live in Georgia, Atlanta to be exact formally of Orlando Florida. I'm in no way associated with the TNL organization or this coach, don't even know these people. I just found it amazing that based purely on what I have read on this board and baring any knowledge of additional history which you are obviously privy to that there would be such a strong sentiment to smear this man. From the postings on this board I did not see anything that should convict this man in any court of law or the court of public opinion. Now again, if you have some kind of additional information from past transgressions that you are using to formulate your opinion, then I can dig that, but I do not have any past historic information and again from what I have read, I can not see how there can be such a strong sentiment against this young man based purely off what has been presented as evidence on this board. But now, I'm grasping the picture a bit, there is some sort of history or suspicion with this guy. Well if that is true, then so be it, again, from what I have read on this board I can not see any reason to smear the man the way he has been smeared when there is no proof of any wrong doing, in this particular case I have no idea about past transgressions.

Now, you're lying. What did they plant???? Blood??? How did they get that??? DNA???? The glove????

He got off because:

A) the collective IQ of the jury was about 24.

B) Ito allowed they case to be about race.

C) Clark and Darden chose not to put on witnesses that put OJ at the scene and leaving the scene because the stories were sold to the tabloids....although the case was decided by A & B.

Nobody ever proved that a single piece of evidence was planted.

GDad wrote:Hmmm.... amazing how many people rushed to judgment on this case, and then totally discount the Jury's deadlock - all it takes is one person to have a hung jury - much less the Judge's statements when he dismissed the charges.

Once again, there was NO content from text messages available to be introduced as evidence. Simply the phone company logs of text messages sent or received....

I have known the coach very well the past several years, and spent a lot of time with him both in and out of softball. I find it hard to believe that if he had a pattern of sexual misconduct with other players over the years that it would not have come in the open.

If you check the local San Diego newspaper archives, at least two or three local teachers and coaches have taken plea bargain felony deals in their own sexual misconduct cases. These deals include jail time - one case recently was an Escondido High School teacher who also coaches the girls water polo team.

Defendants do not accept plea bargain offers from the prosecution unless they are guilty and they don't want to risk more jail time if the case goes to the jury....

Why would the Deputy DA in this case offer a plea bargain down to a misdemeanor after she put on her FIRST witness, the Police Detective? Because the case was too thin to begin with and should not have been filed.... The Deputy DA mailed the case in after she found out the victim had lied through her teeth....

Again, a very sad and unfortunate situation for all involved.... And, as for the defendant spending money on a competent defense team, if your liberty and freedom was at stake, wouldn't you want the best representation you could find? Imagine your son or daughter in court as a defendant facing prison time and a lifetime label as a sex offender. Very serious stuff. And, I would not be venturing my opinion here if I had not sat through the entire trial and all the previous arraignment, preliminary hearings, etc....

GDad...you can stop belaboring these points, as they are now completely irrelevant. Any questions about whether TNL is a troubled, dysfunctional organization, and whether Facione engaged in improper relationships with the girls, have been resoundingly confirmed--not by the court system, but by your own (and others TNL parents') revelations on this board.

Absoultely, if you had just killed someone with a knife, quarts of blood all over the crime scene all you would get in your ride would be a smudge? Look, OJ was able to tell his defense team that this has to be a reem job becasue they did the job in Al Cowlings ride, which is exactly the same as OJ's. That is how they knew it was a plant job because OJ's ride never left rockingham, they went over there OJ, Al Cowlings, and OJ's Son in Al's bronco.

How did they get that??? DNA???? The glove????

You are kidding right? did you watch the trial? They laid out in great detail how the evidence was planted during trial. Hell dective Van Ader drove around with the mans blood in a vile in his pocket for half the dam day. The glove, simple, Furhman picked one up from the scene, took it too Rockingham, left it in the back, banged on the wall to bring attention to the scene hoping someone would find it, and left, not that hard.

Thats just silly Sam, Johnny Cochran did a number on the LA police department pointing out in great detail how they could have planted the evidence. Now no he did not have to prove anything, but come on now, we all know that is what happened. OJ got off because the LA Police department where idots and they blew it big time, the made enough mistakes to last a dam life time, what a mess.

Thats a lovely fairy tale....I almost fell asleep. Ito allowed tons of testimony that had nothing to do with the guilt of Simpson.

Cochrane did his job when they were picking the jury. There was absolutely no chance of conviction.

Ok Sam, what ever, just because you say it, dont make it so. OJ got off because the LA police department drop the ball, period, deal with it. If they had not made those mistakes Cochran would have had nothing to base his defense on, OJ would have fried.
