What are the rules for a girls using a turf shoes while playing the outfield and infield then coming up to bat in them in friendlies and tournaments . Could this hurt a team if using the wrong proper foot gear in asa tounaments rules of softball if caught

Since been new to TB. I have noticed this on my DD team and just thought it was okay. Since they have played several friendlies and tournaments and nobody has said a thing about them.

Okay I've got two different answers here. So if I buy a pair for my DD it's within the rules of softball to use these type of shoes on the field of play ? and within no way of becoming a problem for either teams/coaches and umpires.

By the OP'ers calculations, I think this makes the 4th different answer ... ... At some parks and in some organizations for certain age groups, metal cleats may be illegal ...

No clue were metal cleats came from. I thought the subject was on turf shoes.

I got one answer from MDSoftball Illeagal to use turf shoes and then got a response from spazdad no rule prohibiting type of shoe cans be used.

Soccer cleats should be illegal, if not for the dayglo colors, then just because its soccer.

I took it to metal cleats because, although you received the answer you also said " Could this hurt a team if using the wrong proper foot gear in asa tounaments rules of softball if caught " ... And metal cleats could be the 'wrong proper foot gear' in some associations, age groups or parks ...
