The article seems unsure of the boys ages. Seems to be around 15-16.
I think people are not so appalled by what happened, because from their experiences, most teenage boys of 15-16 feel they are more than ready for sex. At that age, I am guessing a lot of boys are spending a good amount of time seriously thinking about it. It seems most people on this board are men, so is that right guys?

When people hear about a 15-16 yr old girl with an older man, they immediately feel the man has forced the situation on her. And, from what most people have experienced, most girls at that age are not really ready for sex. Not saying they don't think about it(sorry, Dads), but, when it comes right down to it, they really would rather just think about it.

No doubt though, this woman needs to be punished for what she did. Adults are supposed to be looking out for our youth, not exploiting them. Even if it is "willingly".

Any adult, male or female, who is sexually attracted, arroused, stimulated, molests, touches, grabs, abducts or whatever anyone who is 20 or 30 years their junior and a minor ... irregardless of whether they are male or female ... needs to be locked up whether the juveniles think it's cool or not ...

I think we all agree that it was wrong, no question. The fact of the matter is she will get 1 year in jail at the most like most child molestors do. They should be given longer sentences but for some reason they do not. When I was in HS (late 80's) I remember a teacher in her early 30's getting with some of the seniors and everybody knew about it but back then nobody said anything.

Mrs. Robinson was after a College grad ... And even HS Seniors may be adults at 18 years old ... Old enough to go to war is a good yard stick as whether you are old enough to boff someone more than twice your age if you so choose ... But, if you just got your first pubbie, not so much ...
