14U California Dream Team

Although this is a great idea, I think that you guys have forgot one very key person that not only coaches a great team but keeps composure while doing it, Lyn Christensen from the OC Wildcats.
As I have heard, 'Nothing can substitute experience'. Lyn played college ball so she knows exactly what is going on out there. If you ask me she is just as good as Campbell, without the yelling.

Has Lyn ever won any national title at any division?
Not that you have to win nationals to be a good coach, I'm just curious?
Most likely many other coaches fall into this category, "good coach but never won the big one".

Actually her team won in Park City last year.

He said NATIONAL title. Triple Crown isn't even equal to the Fresno Force classic.
I'm sure Lyn is great but comparing her to Campbell is a little premature. His resume with
TWO different groups of kids going back to 2001 speaks for itself.

Still looking for 2 players (LF & 2B) to complete the "Dream Team".

I think the CF for the Corona Angels (#55) deserves to be on this team. She is a great hitter.
Hallie is probably a better all around player, so I'll put #55 in LF.
Now we just need a 2B and the "Dream Team" is complete.

OK if it is a Dream Team what about the 93 shortstop playing her second year on GH
Batbuster Gold team She is the real deal. Also catcher has to be the 8th grader on the 16u Firecrackers already committed to TR next year. That SS from LL is the real deal to she has already committed to TR next year as well.
Pitching has to be C from Firecrackers and BM from Meyers
Lets be honest any coach could win with them but I will take Campbell since the team is already put together and we don't need MT driving to anyones house to recruit them. Campbell is a great coach but I don't think he has the patience to call everyone and go to there house like MR Tyson.

Lady Magic 16u have three 93 players just give verbals to Pac 10 schools. A 3rd baseman and shortstop to Cal, and yesterday Ally, their 93 pitcher gave a verbal to UCLA.

shortstop from LL white just made press-telegram all dream team for 2008 as a freshman "outfielder"...cant wait to see next three years numbers and awards when she competes are her natural ss spot...

and...arajo is now feeding warren hs and downey hs with talent...those teams will be tough to beat in cif next 3-4 years as well...

I did not know Alley and the other 2 from Lady Magic are 93's WOW!!! BM,C, and Alley
who cares who coaches you can beat anybody when a team never gets a single hit. Can you imagine if they all stayed in 14's it woulb be total domination by the pitching.

I'm also a little impressed with myself for spending large chunks of my life reading about people I don't know, but actually knowing who most of these initials belong to. The only one I didn't know from "kings" post was MT. Who's that?

Dream team....Whatever....Every single person mentioned on here for a position was done by a parent, coach, etc.,....So what merit is there to that? Now bring a board of top coaches and have them pick and yes you will come up with your dream team. Will that ever happen no...So parents don't be afraid, nominate your kid, as the others have done in this post...come on do it!!!!! Every player mentioned on this board Im sure are good, but wo cares? does anybody look out for other kids when you have your own playing? Dream team......Yeah right!!!!
