If some of those NTX teams really play better without travel, then maybe.

As everyone who has been around this game for a while knows, each Tournment is different and some with the same teams have different outcomes. So I can't honestly say that the results will be the same as Deer Park. NTX has some good teams and on or close to their home turf could be difficult for STX teams. I know I've said that travel ball is what we do but still home court still has merits. Will it make a difference. We will see. Also you could have team member changes that could affect the outcome.

If anyone believes those NTX teams that were "rudely awakened" last weekend are not busting it to step up their game, I've got some ocean front property to sell you.

Being a Houston guy I really hate to give those NTX guys to much credit but it almost seems as if maybe somehow they might of shceduled the Money tournament just as a sounding board to see what they needed to prep for the HOF...

Teams that think any different might soon find themselves "awakened" or living in Arizona at a new beach condo waiting for the tide to roll in.

I would agree with RlCldH20 100 percent...I can assure you that DD's STX team will be focused on each and every game just like we always have. One game at a time...one tournament at a time...forget tournament when completed and look to the next game. No one with DD's team is taking any team in STX or NTX for granted. This is why I do not make predictions...no game or tourney was ever won on a website.

I think the 98 Ennis Cyclones will have a good chance at winning the hall of fame tournament. They have one of the best 98 pitchers that I have seen. I have seen most of all the teams yall are talking about. They have only faced 4 98 teams this year. They have beaten all of them. 98 After shock, 98 AXE Weichel, 98 Texas Glory, and Ft Worth Batbusters Rhine.

bigj - did they pitch a 98 pitcher or 97 pitcher? I believe they pitched without 98's, therefore, she won't be able to play 12U.

Hey man I was just posting what I think will happen, and how good the team is.You don't have to be rude. I didn't get on here saying she pitches 64 and can't be hit. Her name is Kimberly Hughes. She has pitched against good teams like TNT Gold and lost to them in 11 innings 3-0 and only giving up two hits. South Texas 8s lost 2-0 in 6 innings and only gave up two hits. They beat Battitude Select 14U 5-1 in 6 giving up only 1 hit. I think she can pitch pretty good for a 98.
