12U Spring/Summer Ranking

It takes a special kind of coward to sit behind a screen name and say negative comments about a coach who is out there making a positive difference in little girls lives.

And as far as winning I could careless who scored and who didn't!!! All I was saying is that I heard scorecers and smash did well. I was not there and again could careless of the outcome!!! Just like all you other heybucketers out here 80% of postings on here is word of mouth...

It was a friendly I thought and heard. Couple of friends said it was mostly instruction. Lots of situations and shuffling around on everyone's team. he said it was laid back, and no pressure like blue said. One team playing music. Hardly a gauge of competitiveness.

Those friendlies are GREAT for all teams involved if everyone keeps it in perspective. Placing runners on bases and working plays on defense and offense is invaluable for both teams.

3 games, no big deal, but LOTS of learning. Next time, we will have some barbecue as well:)

Cowards don't need to be special, there cowards for Christ's sake.

All coaches* should be defended when attacked, not just one. So make sure your defense is applied to all when you get on this website and jump on someone, especially when you are also sitting behind a screen name. IMHO Almost all coaches make a positive difference in the lives of our young women.

*Unless they are perverts or something.

I didn't read the post but isn't this a forum that is based on open opinion? I didn't read the post that someone wrote relative to the turn this thread took but it must have ticked some people off. Also, it seems that some antagonize on purpose, not saying anyone has, again, I didn't read the post, but what is stopping someone from posing as part of a particular team trying to start stuff. I'm just saying... :D . If so...not cool. But its there opinion I guess. Who really cares who's the best coach because it truly is....who is the best coach for YOUR KID. Some kids just don't respond well to a coach, an instructor and at that, the parents aren't always a good fit either. I think coaches out there would agree that if you can get a bunch of personalities and make a team of some bomb tasting gumbo...you have something nice cooking!

Tenshun, thanks for the update! I'm looking forward to seeing the ranking updates soon.

TShaun...looks like we are paying the same gate fees and watching the same games...

#1. Smash- best team so far this 2011 season and continue to win. 12's or 14's it just doesn't matter

#2. Sorcerer- Playing great in So Cal and 14's the past two weeks. Somewhat limited pitching, lets see who they pick up.

#3. Breeze98- great play down south and in 14's. Could compete for #1 spot.

#4. Grapes SN- team in transition and only time will tell if they will compete for #1.

#5.Dirt Dogs- Good team and time will tell if they are top team. Need to see them play more of the top competition.

#6.Hotshots-getting better and playing 14's. lets see how long it takes for them to gel. They need to also play the top 12's to see where they fall

#7. Grapes RV- Seem to compete with everybody right now. Played great down south and upcoming 14's. Team will move up and down as season goes on.

#8. Foothill Gold- seem to play down on sat, but able to figure it out on sun. Seem to be peeking little early.

#9. AASA-muched improved team. Good coaching, pitching and defense. went 7-0 two weeks ago at Wilson Tourny. Need to play top teams to see if they can compete.

10. Storm- great small ball team with a few bangers.
