Tracking your team finances easily.

What's on your mind?

by Sparky Guy » Tue Aug 10, 2010 11:52 pm

This is an Excel spreadsheet that I made for myself to keep track of all my team expenses and other things for a season. Try it for yourself and see if you like it. It can be customized for almost any sport.

If you have comments, suggestions or features you'd like to see added drop me a line. My email address is in the spreadsheet.

9/5/2010 >> Fixed an error on the Budget Tab that was not allowing the the National Tournament Costs from being included into the budget. Also changed a couple of formatting items so everything displays correctly.

Excellent spreadsheet.

Thank you for taking the time to create and for sharing with the rest of us.

I made a bare version of it for myself about 6 years ago and gave it to a couple of people I know. They liked it. I'm not coaching anymore so I had some extra time to make it more user friendly and configurable for other teams. I thought I'd share it with people who might find it to be a useful tool to make their coaching jobs easier.

What I'm looking for are ideas for things useful things to add to it. I thought about tracking stats but decided against it. There are too many good programs out already which are dedicated to doing exactly that.

Fixed a couple of format errors and the National Tournament costs not being added to the team budget.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback.
