OBTW: Hugo, our team plays in Div I in CIF in Southern California. Had some prior issues with this particular umpire and some games with no issues. I like the guy, on a personal level, but he has a short fuse....which I should have considered when registering my complaint. We played in a tournament earlier in the season and one of my batters was hit by a 60+mph pitch on the forearm....he didn't award the HBP because he said she didn't try to get out of the way. I had only seen that called on a pitch that fast once ever in my coaching career. I didn't utter a word to him on that call.
