Loss of a Great Softball Player

This is so very sad! I just cant imagine what that poor family is going through. Such a horrible tragedy. What a beautiful and talented young lady. Our families prayers go out to her family. I just want to go home and hug my kids right now. Makes all this crap seem so meaningless right now.

Nadia Brianne Mathews has sadly passed away. Thoughts and prayers go out to friends and family. What a horrible loss for the softball community. I didn't know her but heard many great things about her both on and off the field. God bless the Mathews family!

Absolutely tragic! Like Lurker, I can also relate to the loss of a child. After having read so many good things about Bri, I was looking forward to seeing her pitch in the future for Arizona. But she is a softball angel now and although I never had the pleasure of knowing her, I cannot stop the tears either.

I did not know her well, but we competed against Bri fairly often. She seemed to be a remarkable young person in every way. She certainly was an outstanding player and competitor. Bri will be missed by so many throughout our softball community. From the Sorcerer organization, we extend our thoughts and prayers to the Matthews family and Batbuster players and coaches during this time of tragedy and pain. God bless you all.
