Last I heard dallasFP hit the correct order for this tournament. Donkey's, Rage, 99 RoughRiders.

Total guess. How could I not pick a team with that name?? So are they really an old Kruzer team?

I am not sure where they got their players. I heard rumor that they are 97 Kruzer girls and American Freedom girls with a few pick-ups here and there. I do know that they will small ball you until you make a play and then hit it over your head once you make a play on the small ball.

Their lead off batter was very impressive with her left side game.

Just to clear up any confusion, there were no Kruzer girls on our team. I seriously doubt any of those girls would be playing in a 12U B tournament in January though I would have taken any of them in a heartbeat. We had 1 girl from Freedom playing with us.

sbfan what team are you from?

When the SS can wear sunglasses at night and still perform what do you expect?
(she was doing that to protect her true identity)
They scored 72 runs in 7 games and had 13 scored against them.
The trophy they got was so big they needed one of thier donkey carts to carry it off the field!
They whipped a team from Waco in the championship game 14-4!!!
They were really upset to be beaten by "Donkeys"!
Lord the things that came out of thier fans mouths was not fit, even for the donkeys barnyard!!! LOL

Ride you Donkeys Ride!!!!!!!!!! LOL LOL LOL

Nevermind. RoughRiders.
You guys have a fantastic team. I know it was January and players were rusty, but they are very well coached. I told my girls before we played you that you would be the toughest competition out there despite being the youngest and I was right. Good luck your girls this spring and thanks for the kind words on our short game.

My donkey had a good time & would do it all again.

Pickin' em up putin' em down. Dinkin' & Donkin' em with bloops & blasts.

A little "d"fense & pitchin' the hey

We didn't expect the attention when our donkey's were just playin' to be playin' somewhere.

For someone who acts like they didn't want a lot of attention they sure are playing it up! The sad thing is you guys are all anyone's talking about from this tournament. Wasn't there another team there that beat you? Oh yes, it was that Waco team that ya'll bragged about whipping. They were the only team that went all day being undefeated. From what I saw those girls beat themselves with errors in that last game. Not much coming from the donkeys. Especially not a pitcher throwing 56. WOW! REALLY? Unless you count the REALLY loud old lady that sounded like a donkey and that one guy that looked like one. I would like to point out that there were other teams there that were ONLY there to play softball, not to just draw attention to themselves with crazy rumors. I'm sure you guys were the ones starting them. It's my understanding the tournament director let you choose your ENTIRE team from pick ups and then the rest went to Mystique. Regardless, there were some teams that played their hearts out. They were younger and needed the experience. For some of these teams it was their first tournament. Hopefully they will continue to play and not think that this is what it's all about. I've seen several tournaments in the Waco area and I can GUARANTEE you that the "Dallas Donkeys" wouldn't make it past first elimination.

realfan, Can you please post a link to the thread in which the Donkeys claimed to not want attention drawn to themselves? It appears to me that is exactly what they wanted. The crazy name and ridiculous website and all the rumors-They appeared to me to be making a mockery of VTD. It was a big joke to them and everyone involved, I guess they just happened to be pretty good. I wasn't there so I don't know the story behind the final game but it looks like they opened a can on you in the championship. An error here or there may give a run or two, but you lost by 10! I'm not condoning what the Donkeys did all week, in fact I thought it was preposterous. You, however, just seem to have that sour taste that comes from loosing.

For someone who wasn't there and isn't involved you sure have a lot to say. You think it's preposterous yet you discuss it. Obviously you're not much of a watcher because errors can do a lot more than cause 1 or 2 runs. There were many errors in one inning that actually gave up 7 runs. The final score was 12-4. The first time they played HOT Rage the score was 5-3 (HOT Rage). The way I see it they both have a win. Maybe they should schedule a tie breaker. Of course that is if they are still a team. Regardless, I always find it amusing when adults come out and argue about absolutely nothing. Everyone needs to start remembering the girls and the game. Every girl there had something to offer this weekend, whether they were a donkey or not.
