Best Walk-up Songs For Softball

What's on your mind?

by SoCalASABlue » Mon Dec 21, 2009 1:35 pm

DD's pitching warmup music is the intro guitar shredding from "Cowboys from Hell" by Pantera...for tournaments last summer, DD's teammates ran the gamut from various Black Eyed Peas songs to Survivor (Eye of the Tiger) to P.O.D. (Boom)...

The most memorable walk up song I heard was at Washington Glory games when Sara Larquier (sp) was up and the PA would start playing Queen's "Fat Bottom Girls" (Ohhhh, you gotta take me home tonight...). I miss NPF, I hope they make a comeback when or if the economy ever improves.

Queen's "Fat Bottom Girls"

Not, I suppose, to be confused with Spinal Tap's "Big Bottom."

Kevin, what was the name of that Spinal Tape druid song where the guy couldn/t get out of his pod? THAT had me colapsed in a paroxysm of giggles in the theater. That and "Working on a Sex Farm."

Regards,

Scott

Bad to the bone by lonesome George

Funny thing is my DD's teammates @ College are asking what she wants. I think that one would be a little too bold as a freshman, Or not

So, what exactly is a "ghetto" song? Damn, the more I'm on this site, the more ignorance I see......

Oh get off of your PC high horse. I think people know what is meant by that term and and how it applies to some of the current trends in music. To claim otherwise is ignorance

Yea, ok. I'm on a "high horse". Get over yourself. There are alot of ignorant posts about certain things here. Maybe this wasnt that bad, but, go back and take a look. Sorry, I didn't want to piss off the "mighty" Spazsdad. Sorry, oh mighty one....................

Nzane, I expected you to catch on to that. We have debated the use of music at tournaments and have gotten in some heated debates over the term ghetto on here. It was a joke.
