We are not supposed to have ghetto music at softball games. The consensus was to "enjoy the sounds of the game". Be sure to let your high school and college announcers know. ;)

3B - Try to get today's teenager to walk up to a single like "Centerfield", when they have the option of selecting their own songs. It isn't going to happen. You just have to make sure they don't get too out of control.

Artomatic - A walk up song is a unique 6-8 second portion of a song, the announcer plays when the home team's batter walks from the on deck circle to the plate.

ah, I see.
I see that at Angels and Dodgers games, but haven't seen that at high school or travel games...wow, you guys really have that?
i think it would be funny to play certain songs when certain parents walk up to the bleachers too....

Depends on the player as the selection is likely to be unique to her personality.

The opening to this song is a good one if your player has "swagga" (She'd better have game though). Sweet Tom Petty sample to boot.

The DD was a pitcher. They would play Devo's Whip it Good when she would jog out to the mound and start warming up at her HS games. :o
