I'm in the process of sending out a Survey to College Coaches concerning recruiting. It's going out to DI to DIII Coaches with a few NAIA included. Although it's only been sent to a single state over the past day, we've received 20 responses. Over the next few weeks all current Coaches will receive the Survey, with the results being updated daily.
The Survey can be view at: http://www.chicagofastpitch.com , at the bottom left of the first page.
Questions are:
1. What division of College or University are you currently coaching?
2. How many years in advance to you begin to solidify your recruiting class? For instance if this is 2010 and you're looking for 2012 Players your answer would be two (2).
3. What is the single most effective activity a Player can use to gain your attention?
4. How many Exposure Tournaments do you attend annually?
5. You receive multiple requests to watch a specific player for the first time at an Exposure Tournament. What makes you decide to watch a player for the first time?
6. What is the one item that every prospective athlete should know before they begin the recruiting process?
The results aren't the easiest to read, but once you get the hang of it they're clear. The format will be changes as soon as I have the time.
Thanks.
