14U '99 Teams for Fall

Team California and RR Gold could hold on to their top dog positions in the respective associations in fall. Who else should be considered by the '99s when looking at tryouts? Here's a list of some of the programs that should be considered by families looking to play competitively in the area. Yes, some are better than others, but we all needs teams for our girls to play on. Missing any of the stronger teams out there for the Greater Sac and Greater SJ Associations? The list is alpha, not a ranking.

Any insight? What teams have NOT posted tryouts yet. Could be a clue. We'll know soon enough after these last tourneys are over.

My money is on it being primarily an existing team. Coach slides over. Most of the players come with him.

I was just at Champions Cup and watched 3 Firecrackers teams play.....we even actually beat one of them (I dont know how that happened0.
Their magic powers didnt seem to be working that week as they were pretty avg. Must need a new set of unis, or maybe they didnt send in their check for the month.

If everyone knew, it wouldn't be called a secret. Just takes one person not knowing to still be considered a secret!

Plenty of teams out there for the girls. All that matters is the best fit for your DD right here, right now.

I could not agree with you more. There are many choices out there for parents and players.
Lots of reasons for someone to choose team x over team y, or team z. I just dont think putting on a team's name is one of the reasons.... and ESPECIALLY the situation many people have been discussing on heybucket. It only makes more people in norcal buy into the myth that everything in socal is gold and lolipops. For about 5 teams (im talking older ages) I would have to agree with that view. If you are on Rico's Firecrackers, Tysons Angels, Socal Athletics, HANNINGS Batbusters, Socal Breakers........ life must be like living at Wonkas chocolate factory. But if you arent on those teams, you must get up and go tot work everyday, just like everyone else.

Shout outs to KG Hitters, AASA-Norwood, and RR Gold-Miller for the three strongest runs at Triple Crown for the teams in this list. Big shout out to the older teams from our area who represented NorCal, including California Breeze 98 and Valley Stompers for their 1-2 finish.

That's for another thread! But I'm sure all these teams would take a strong 2000. My thoughts are for the 99's.

I'm sure someone from the just-ended 12's can start that thread. And I'm sure you'll see some usual suspects with some new interest in Breeze-Leles, Firecrackers-Sjolie, and more.
