Where are the Female Coaches at?

The one thing that I have noticed in our area is the lack of female coaches, ex college players? Are there any ? I think good coaching staffs should have ex college players on it. The girls tend to look up to those coaches and it gives them someone that has been through it all. Any ladies interested in coaching? Or are they usually done after college?

Still, not enough. There are various reasons, having a job, experience, school, working with parents, burn out etc. I would love to have more ex-players coach. They really do make an impact with the players. The few times I have had college players come to our practices, the girls have really enjoyed it. Made the girls feel important that a college player would take the time to work with them. As a matter of fact, I am currently looking for an assistant coach for my Grapette 14U team based out of Folsom. Give me a shout!!
