# of bats in your DD's bag?

by Miken dad » Fri Jan 11, 2013 9:13 am

Just curious how many bats your DD carries with them in their bags. Why?

One, because she needs at least one to hit with...jk. She does only carry one though.

I am also curious about this question.

Three

One composite bat for games/real balls > 60 degrees
One hybrid bat for games/real balls < 60 degrees

One bat with nothing left in it but weighs the same for fake balls/cages.

One..but ICTM brings up a good point that I all but forgot. It's going to hover in the high 40's/low 50's this weekend. Might have to tell her to bring out one of her hybrids.

I got the TPS H2 for $40 on eBay. Kid likes it almost as much as her Demarini.

Just happened to look in My kids bag this weekend after I almost threw my back out trying to lift it. Noticed she had 5 bats in her bag. she only uses 2 out of the 5 bats. I asked her why they were in her bag? she said 1 was my first good bat, the other was her favorite that she grew out of. she said they were old friends and the other is POS aluminum bat for hitting on the wheel. ( but she never remembers to use it)

Apparently NONE!!! After a 45 min drive to hitting lessons the other day my wonderful child opens her bag and says Oops!!! I don't have a bat in my bag. She did however have 7 old water bottles, 2 bags of seeds, 15 or so team balls, a pair of shorts, a broken fielding mask from 2 years ago and my favorite a shoe!!! I didn't ask.

So my question do I get mad that the 3 bats she owns where all in the Garage by her T which means she is obviously hitting on her own at home or do I call the hoarder's hotline for what I found in her bag???

14u daughter has Three 34", 1 (-9 ) 2011 model 2(-10's) 2011 & 2013 models.
12u daughter has two, 32" & 33", 2(10's) 2012 model and 2013
-9 was for slower pitchers, but mostly used now for hitting lesson's
32" was because she was tired of hand me down bats that were broken in with a lot of pop.
( hard to convince her about that)
2013's- New black and Yellow Easton's for Christmas
-All Easton Stealth's
Comment about the cold weather bats makes sense, or I have to get out the bat warmers, and put those back in use. Those bats are worth more than some stock's out there.
