Magic Just Rumors Really???

Funny how life comes full circle. I would like to bring up a little of the past for all of you. I saved this a year ago almost to the day thinking we would see this again. Since an Innocent Parent/Coach was thrown under the bus for a rumor that was absolutely true. Someone asked last year about 12u teams and where to play. Below is my response. I deleted some to to shorten up and just leave those involved here. Sorry I had to leave the part about Ron Smith he and his wife are so Toxic to the softball world I laughed again when I read my own post. Thank the Lord he is no longer coaching.

Sac Plague???? You can go pay a minimal fee for a work out with Mr Smith and find why you should RUN FAR FAR AWAY!!!

Heat Cota has played very good in Fall looks like they have made a great transition to 12u good coaching staff.
Breeze 00 Strong team qualified for Nat's. BINGO is NOT a Bad thing. Lots of Drama seems to follow the Org and questions on if the coach will be there after try outs.
Lady Magic Well it's Magic probably enough said there. Guess it just depends on what they get for try outs. With out a doubt prob the most expensive Org to play for

In reference to the Breeze 00 coach jumping ship...absolutely untrue. This viscous rumor was most likely started by a parent of a former player. The hard facts are Coach Madison WILL be attending tryouts this Sunday at Rosemont High and IS committed to leading this team to a competitive spring/summer season.

With this much talk I would be very suprised if this was rumor or coming from a former parent tho. I have heard this from a number of coaches. people within other Org's, as well as a coach who put in for the spot and was told "No they had the Alum and and coach's already picked". I know one coach had a daughter who was on Heat Cota during Fall. From what I have been told He and the Breeze coach work together or are pretty good friends of some sort. Wouldn't be the first time a coach had a try out and left after. Happened just this last fall in Stockton.

Those who know many involved know this was planned a year ago and when faced at Casino Night the Breeze coach referenced above did not know what to say, denied it then bailed on it. Blaming an ex parent/coach was the easiest way to save face. If you have sat through this and do not believe this you have bumped your head. I was dumb enough to have my daughter play for him twice it will never happen again. Pitchers beware, players beware, parents beware. Daddy ball has just met Lady Magic. Deals are already being made to sponsor a player in need, promises are being made behind the backs of many, Madison has lied to so many along the way, who is he lying to tonight??? I can't speak for the Heat Parents as I do not know many of them but I hope you are not being given the same line we were. A few of your players have been at Breeze ask them I am sure they will tell you a little about Madison.

Everything Bleacher Bug said is true. Ask any parent that you know that played for that team and you will understand how true this post is. The parents on that team have watched this man lie to all of us about interviewing for the Magic job last year. That was later confirmed by multiple people within the magic and breeze organization. I watched that coach call incorrect pitches for two years and then have his top pitcher injured at the end of the season because of that. And then I watched this man tell all of us this week that he is going to Lady Magic. I for one was not surprised... -

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, we'll see. I would not allow my daughter to play for DM after some of the stuff he's pulled over the years.

There are plenty of coaches out there that don't know anything and can't coach a lick - half the parents in NorCal talk that way about their current and past coaches - it's their NEXT coach that knows everything. After all, he's the one that is finally going to recognize that DD is the next great D1 recruit (and we've known this since politics kept her from being on her rec league's all-star team back when she was 9), and finally bat her third in the line-up, and finally let her play SS every inning. Good thing DD's already played for a half-dozen different teams in her 3 years of travel ball - she's probably already got the right color pants/socks in her closet...

Seriously, are people really going to complain about coaches changing organizations at the end of a season (particularly when it means going to an org that has a proven track record and reputation of developing and exposing top-notch talent)? Aren't some of you the same people who welcome with open arms the new big bat or the new hot arm you've been missing, even when you're her third team since last winter?

You are obviously a Magic Supporter based on your first post, as a matter of fact your previous Moniker was probably WhoRYou since we have yet to hear from Mr Who.

I never said a word about his ability’s as a coach. Though I feel this teams winning was more about the talent of the core 8 or 9 than it was about the about the ability of the coach. At the same time I do not judge a coach on his win and loss record.

This has nothing to do with the team changing Org’s either. Magic is a great Org and has a good rep yes butt at some point riding the Henderson name run’s out even more now that Henderson has his own Org with LTG.

This is 100% about the integrity of this coach. This coach has lied to his entire team for a year, most of who have been with him since 9 years old. He made many of us believe a parent/coach who had been here since the start and had been a friend of his started this rumor knowing it was true from day 1.

I have lost count of the amount of new parents I have seen show up at practice after joining the team with hopes of being the next starting….. because the coach had recruited them and told them come here and your daughter will start knowing very well she was filling in a back up roll. Pitchers who he recruited from other teams filling their heads with thoughts of being a starter knowing very well that wasn’t going to happen just to watch them sit the bench and never play. Promising girls he would work with them, develop them and give them a shot just to continually leave them in the outfield and never work with them. His integrity shows when he makes financial deals with this player and that player playing time promises with this player and that player.

If you have a Pitcher 1st base combo no reason to come to tryouts they have 3 of those now. Catchers and Shot Stops no need they have one sponsored and coaches daughter who both play there. I could go on but I think you get my point. To answer your question my kid plays more than most week in week out. I am just tired of the lies and arrogance. All I am saying is cover your daughters butt..

Shows exactly what I am talking about. I shared the same anger towards this parent/coach based on the lies we heard. what a learning experience. S.A has more class than that. Let me share the pm he sent me this morning. I know this was not meant for the public but he should not be brought into this it has nothing to do with him and never did.

I wanted to say thank you for this post and questioned if I should respond back. As that parent/coach that was accused of starting that malicious rumor...I at many times wanted to defend myself but felt that it would be best to let the matter be and not get caught up in the drama.

What I can and will say was that year that I coached with the Breeze was most enjoyable for me. The group of girls that we had together that year grew leaps and bounds from fall to Nationals.

It was an absolute pleasure to coach that group of fine young ladies. I have always been very passionate about the game and hope that the girls learned to appreciate my style of coaching. I cheer every single one of those girls on to this day and hope that they never lose the passion to play the game at the highest level.

It is very unfortunate to those girls that are left behind and now have to find new homes when they thought that they already had home. I wish them the best of luck!

I will tell you first hand S.A knew nothing about this matter when I text him last night. He was working his off duty job at the Bingo Hall when this all went down. I was the one who told him about seeing the post. S.A and I have had some heated times but I will say with out a doubt he would never do a thing to hurt any of the girls on any team he has ever been involved with. He has a huge passion for the game and an even bigger passion for the players who put everything they have into playing it. S.A is? It sounds like it fueled a lot of the fire with the parents on the Breeze 00. Bleacher bug and Fly out you should of been talking to the Head coach.
