14U Team Rankings (Bracketologist) May 25th Pre-Memorial Day

Yea your totally right anybody can talk shit from behind a screen name, but that's why I let you guys know who I am.
I don't know if you guys are talking about me but as I look at my post all I said is we don't pick up players, is there a lot of bashing of both team, yea there is but if you was to get on here a say you never said anything you would be a damn lier, as a parent you need to rember what you say about parents and kids cause the softball world is small and everything will get back to that person. I heard a couple of times from a couple of parents that there was some trash talking after the Fresno force tournament , did I get on here and start calling people out, no I just sat back and listened to what was said. The sorcerers are a great team and will be a great team but to sit there and talk shit about how we're losing it and we're going to break up next week and how much better of team you guys are and then act like you guy never say anythig is a joke. there is not a clear cut favorite team out there that will just dominate every team they play we proved it this week by beating firecrackers sota do I think we would do that again no but thats the game of softball. What I did by saying we don't pick up player was just to let the ones tslking know were a great team and were do it with what we got, should I of done it probably not. so i appolgize for what i said.i said before both teams are great team lets respect each other and play the game and leave it on the dirt best of luck this season and play hard

Nine times out of ten the people who talk smack via social networking or at the park are ones that do not respect the game, do not respect the players, do not respect the coachs, do not respect the umpires, basically could give a rats ass what anyone thinks, and furthermore never played the game other than slow pitch beer league. The names and faces change at the lower age groups but the assholes are always around. And we wonder why 3/4 of the kids quit by age 16, SAD!

It should be about competition between teams on the field, NOT competition between wantabe parents spewing out stupid meaningless shit in front of their kids or in public/social media, I want the kids to have fun, learn the game, and look back when its all over and say that was a BLAST!

ESPECIALLY , when this sport of softball is so unique in comparison to other sports in that there are SO many opportunities for the "AVG"! ball player to get a education at least partially taken care of, and you piss it away because you have ruined it for your kid because you cant hold it together, I think so many of us lose sight of the BIG picture of WHY you are even having your kid play. I mean its either your hoping at least she gets some money for her education, or just to get some sort of feeling of self worth, or to get her out of the house and stay active, or simply just plain stay out of trouble, but when you start spewing right in front of your DD time and time again, they get tired of hearing the b.s. and next thing you know, they are DONE playing, they hate the sport and you look back and wonder what the hell did i just do!!!!!!!!!

Use your energy rooting your kid on in a positive fashion and by helping them improve their skills, all the other is just b.s.

So did you beat Firecrackers - Sota??? Because I thought that was his spring team that he put together with different orginizations and only played for a couple months. They didn't even wear cracker colors and were called sweet sixteens.

Not sure a man would like a woman putting them in their place in front of their fellow parents, but I would be glad to do so.

Did you ever play girls fastpitch softball? Or are you just another one of those "beer drinking slow-pitch dad's" you are referring to? I actually played TB, therefore I am not a "wanna-be".

Please people! My only point in calling people out on here is for other teams not to point the finger and act like they NEVER call others out, or bad mouth the other team! It gets so old hearing about it really because it goes on ALL the time, no matter who you play for. Grow some balls and get over it!
The Sorcerer team and the Smash team both have a talented group of girls. Any given Sunday things can change in one inning. I personally have never seen a Smash parent "pounding their chest" after winning a game as Juicy described in an earlier post. All of these girls (on both teams) work hard to be the best they can. Yes, Hey Bucket has some good info, but most of the time it's a bunch of dad's on here trying to get a rise out of each other-it's all in good fun, if you can't handle it take a Xanax.

Oh, one more thing Karate Kid...I believe Sota had 4 players from his original team, the rest mixed from various other So-Cal teams. Either way it was a huge accomplishment in my book for a Nor-Cal team to go down there and win that tourney. I might add it was also a huge accomplishment for the Sorcerer team to make it as far as they did. When was the last time a Nor-Cal team went down there and actually won a 14's tourney? Congrats to all those girls ON BOTH TEAMS!

The Sting and Sorcerers a couple years ago did that I believe, they placed 1 and 3rd in the nation that year as well.

Hey Lovehaters.....I have admired the Smash 98 team and their Coach for 2-3 years.....my old team beat them twice by 1 run each game in our first year at 12's and then the tide changed after a 10-2 whipping at Arnaiz in 2010. They are well coached and have kids that play HARD. CONGRATS to your Program and the Sorcerer's on any win in So Cal and dont let anyone tell you different. I love to compete in No Cal against great teams and LOVE when ANY of us get a win against So Cal in any tournament. They have been the BEST for years and I see the better No. Cal programs narrowing the gap lately.

BTW Lovehaters....GIVE EM HELL on the field and on the Bucket!!!!!! LOL

14U Nor Cal Poll – May 25th Pre- Memorial Day Tournament Update

Based on the results from the MDC Tournament in So Cal both TC Smash 98 & Sorcerers – Schroll look like contenders at PGF Nationals.

Thanks to everyone who votes – especially the coaches! Like in So Cal 12U the Coaches ballots are telling me that there is a big drop off after the top 4. Interesting to see how this plays out.

Will be interesting to see if any Nor Cal or Central Cal teams decide to play in the TCS Bracky Elite in San Diego on June 2-3 a chance to play the #1 FC- Sota team and #5 Power Surge 97 -open to all teams.
