I was not being mean. I was just taking a guess at the OBS. I knew your team was from Oakdale. That is why I guessed that for the O. I figured the S was Softball. But I did not know what the B was and that is why I put ??? after the B. Anyhow, I looked on your website and could not find what OBS stood for, so thanks for letting us know.

Instant success and gratification doesn't always justify the best move for the player. Development and learning is key at this pitchers age and ability. Grapettes-Norwood will be a team that others will be measured by, as it has been for a very long time. They are a strong group with some very talented kids. So they had an "off" weekend. Who hasn't. When it counts, they will be there. I find it kinda funny, that after 1 tourney people want to start the rumor mill. Seems like some want to stir the pot and get thoughts running thru others minds. Be carefull for what you wish for, because the grass isn't always greener.

I would like to send a BIG congrats the Dirt Dogs for their showing at the TCS OC Classic.

I was able to watch them play a bit and they had a great weekend.

The final game was VERY close but the Corona Angels were able to squeek by.

I hope the NorCal teams had a safe trip back home!

I was able to watch the Grapettes, Force and Dirt Dogs this weekend. The Grapettes and the Dirt Dogs looked very good. The Force is a young team. The Dirt Dogs pulled it together on Sunday though...they were hitting. Looking forward to some great competition the season amongst the Nor Cal teams. The last time the Grapes and Dogs got together it was a great one. Possibly another showdown coming up at the end of February in Salinas....Best of luck to all this season!
