Anyways, maybe your team was off a little in the game I saw, but I didn't see world beaters, that's for sure.

I was going to go watch the Modesto tournament, but a tractor hit a cow crossing Hwy 99, and I didn't want to sit in traffic.

@watchtons....I don't think you are bias. Rankings always come down to opinion. Wasn't making excuses, just expalining in case you didn't see. But at the same time, if something is stated and I think it is wrong or misconceived, then I am going to say something. I am very well aware that we are young....all 97 teams are. Matched up against any other 97 team, we can beat any of them on any given day. Magic has been tough against us, but lost a close one in Modesto 1-0 a couple weeks ago. So I guess the perspective is just different. We may not be "a team to beat" in your opinion, but we WILL have a good fall and better spring.

@TITO...or TINO....???? LOL. Don't need rabbit ears when you quote me, and our girls deserve to be defended as do all of the ladies playing. All is good. I had a good time writing my response. All in fun.

Wow ....now I can't agree with those rankings. Breeze 97 played 1 tournament that had weaker competition and won it. We lost to Hype....true....but you failed to see or mention that we hit ALL 14 kids that game because it was Saturday and wanted to get everyone swings. We put up 3 in the first inning and hitting 14....took a while to get back to the top. But it's fall and sometimes you do those things. I would expect if one is going to rank teams that all of that would be taken into consideration before you posted them......

We played in Modesto the weekend before and had a good tourney. So we do well in the strong tourney with the "stronger teams", play a "weaker tourney" and win it and move down 3 spots????? Again, having a good start to the fall and still missing one of our top 2 pitchers. So I think our ranking was much more reasonable the first week, but always interesting to see.

Thought the first set of ranking were pretty good and consistent.....this week....can't say I agree with that. But, don't have to right?

The current team is a mixture of first and second year 14's. A couple of girls played 16U last summer, perhaps leading to the confusion. The entire team is eligible to play 14's next summer.

ASA Tourney in Lincoln -
Breeze '97 and Silverstreak again very evenly matched. Silverstreak won both games vs. Breeze by one run. Mizuno AA lost to Breeze 1-0 in Semifinals.

Looks like the next two weekends should really determine the top spots in 14u this fall. Upcoming weekend I will not miss the Sorcerers vs. Lady Magic at Arnaiz. Have to think Sorcerers is going to win that one, but you never know on saturday, especially at 8am in the morning. Really looking forward to the following weekend when most of the top teams will be in the tournament. SB Stars, LM, Sorcerers should make for some good games in this weekends pool f i believe. RR Gold won it last week, although I took the weekend off and didnt see any of the games.
