RR GOLD NEW 12U COACHES AND TRYOUTS

Dimas is not the reason this team fell apart... The fact that he OPTED OUT with these "new coaches" coming in is why it did...

What happened? The earlier posts said Victor Deanda/Mark Ortega took teams to nationals, sound like knowledgeable coaches to me. I was looking for a 12u team, work has moved me to central valley from the south bay.

Mark Ortega and Victor Deanda did take a team to 10u Nationals last year and placed 5th

...yet they were unable to KEEP that team together upon their return... Or put a team together since... What does THAT say?

WRONG..... Love Sarah, her mom was one of my best friends(I miss her much) but Sarah has to beat the bushes every year just like her mom did to get players. She busts her butt locating and finding players each year.

I will by you a 12 pack of beer if they had 20 players are their tryout.

It says that running travel teams is an extremely tough proposition. They aint the first coaches that have had it happen top them AFTER a successful Summer on the field....... and they wont be the last.

Kiko, AFTER going to Scorcerer probably had MANY kids at his tryouts. Kiko before Scorcerer didnt have a line of kids at his door. At least when he was Bears, they were so so, so I am assuming no.

Corey Reid?? Hell, lucky if we get 15-20 kids each year at tryouts. Thankfully, 12-13 of those kids are always pretty decent, but we certainly never had people beating our door down.

2 years ago in Spring, I think we had 4-5 new kids tryout.

This year for Fall, our 16u had 2, TWO.. yes two whole players show up to tryout.

We take who we get and we go, but we certainly dont have dozens of players lined up when we have tryouts.

so who is next.... still waiting?

We found a team, happy with the coaches! Glad its over! Still heard more positives thru this process about Mark Ortega/Victor DeAnda, more negatives about Dimas.

I dont think the team folding had everything to do with Dimas. He handed the team over to other coaches to run. But in the end it was him that brought them in to help out. And now they have one 12u team.

lookingin is correct this has nothing to do with Dimas, it happened because Regpala won't let the new coached play ASA and qualify for ASA Nationals. This is a organizational thing not a Dimas thing.

!00% true. Regpala also forces his coaches to take coaches and players on their team that they dont even want.
