sorcerers beat thunder in championship who beat sting to go to the championship.

Even weaker tournament than Salinas...but at least the girls got to play. Didn't see anything extraordinary at 12s or 14s. HS girls are still in playoffs so the 14s was still mostly 13s.

this Tournament was alot STRONGER ...not an " A " Tournament...s/b "B"
but not a " C " Tournament like Salinas either.....look and match teams.

Just chiming in on the subject making sure things are straight here. The TC Salinas 12's was a bit watered down, we all know that and even a few parents on the winning team will admit it. Although there were indeed a few good teams there, not really what they hope to see. The Fremont 12's was a waste of time for all. There were 1 or 2 decent teams in it but by far was below what was in Salinas the week prior. Not to take anything away from anyone in either tourney, you had to play and win the games and good work taking care of the task at hand.

From the looks of the Fremont two age groups the better 12u/13U played up in the 14U. Good thing because they would have made it no fun for those in the 12's. Looking at the results Sorcerer(1st) held their own as well as Sting(3rd) and Strikkers(5th) surrounded by 13/14 year old teams.

I like nothing more than a coach believing in his team and challenging them to play up a level to bring it out of them. We all know Sorcerer and Sting have depth in pitching so it's no surprise to see them in the top 3 there. Congrats to Sorcerer for winning it and making the 12's look good. Sting and Strikkers are gaining momentum and with Metro's a month away looks like its perfect timing.

HB at times tends to twist from it's purposes at times getting others to push and shove with the keyboard. It's all in good humor and such a way that we shouldn't get out of control. I know a few DD's that know of HB so we should not bash to bad with posts that they may see.

Some coaches use HB as a guide for upcoming tournaments and some like to give their kids or teams a shout out or just bums like us that like giving honest opinions without strings attached.

Bottom line is the girls are doing the hard work and making names for themselves, lets keep them in this wonderful game. At then end of the day it's all the same, played hard, learned something new and had a little fun doing it.
