TEAM Xtreme is looking pretty strong. I am happy to see that the girls stayed together. They played great this weekend. Had a few errors in the championship game that cost them the game.. but they will work those out. It's always fun to watch Mizuno Garcia & Team Xtreme play. We stayed just to watch that game. A lot of talent on those 2 teams.. those girls will go a long ways in softball if they all stick with it! Great coaching on both teams as well. I was very impressed as a parent. Now that's softball!

I love when people place blame on errors when they had nothing to do with the outcome.

1 run might have been unearned I would say the other 5 runs were earned. Yes Team Extreme had a few errors during the game but they didn't cost them 6 runs. The score was 4 0 after the first inning. Mizuno came out hitting and Extreme was not ready to play a solid team. After the first inning extreme stepped up a little but that had more to do with pitching then anything. If you take the pitcher, short stop and maybe the catcher off the Extreme team and the rest is pretty vanilla.

I went to see the battle of the catchers.. I have heard all this hype about how great this catcher is???? (Let me start by saying I am not bashing a 12 year old) Don't get me wrong she seemed like a pretty good catcher but the way she was being thrown around as the next best thing out there I didn't see it.. I thought both catchers were pretty good but not like we haven't seen that before. If I had to judge how they did my edge would honestly go towards the Mizuno catcher. She did a good job behind the plate, hit the ball better and ran the bases better.

I am not sure which one would be making the excuses? MSC Tigers? Extreme? LOL!!!!... My bet would be MSC The DF B Ball champs.

I am so tired of hearing how great this MSC team is when they have not played anyone who matters. I am a big supporter of Dennis and what he does at DF but everyone who plays there knows they are at a different level then the top ASA teams. If MSC wants any respect They need to get out of DF and go play some real teams... Wait it looks like they did?!?! Oh never mind they are signed up as one of the few 99s going to Stockton March 31 April 1. The best of the 12s are in Lincoln that weekend. I see Heat Cota pulled out of Lincoln to head down to Stockton? Must not want to play the top teams and prove that #10 ranking they were gifted last weekend.

Let me first state, that I have friends on Mizuno and on Xtreme, so after sitting here reading everyone talking about Team Xtreme over and over again, someone please explain to me why this team has deserved all this trash talk. I don't see Team Xtreme's parents on here whining or complaining or trying to drag anyone else's team through the mud. It is my understanding that these girls work hard just like everyone else. So what if this team decided to go in a different direction than what "other" people thought they should. It just makes no sense to me. For the most part, this team stayed together, they are competitive, and "that", I believe, is what sparks all of this nonsense. Let these girls play, let them have fun doing what they love to do.

RR Gold-Miller is a great team, they deserve the #1 spot
Mizuno-Garcia is also a very good team
Team Xtreme- with or without Olympic coaches is also a very good team.

Team Xtreme may not be RR Gold, or Garcia, but they are a team that can compete closely with them. They are a tough team, they have to be being as though they seem to be the object of everyones aggression. Ha! That being said, it is my understanding, that Team Xtreme's #1 pitcher is out due to an injury from the kick off tourney, we found out later that she was pitching the championship game with a broken thumb. I did wonder why her field play looked a little off. It makes me wonder where that will leave this team without her. As stated before their pitching is not real deep, with only 10 on the Roster, this puts a lot of pressure on the other 9 players.

You must have missed this one below that 1st to 3rd wrote a few weeks back??? We can dig up the rest of them but I don't think we really have to.. A lot of great parents on these teams unfortunately (as on every team out there) a few of them are still living through little girls and feel they need to talk crap about the rest. I agree with what your saying none of these players deserve the crap that gets thrown their way. Unfortunately when one parent starts talkin Sh*! the rest jump on board.

"Big Guy" - I've seen plenty of Mizuno Garcia games and the best catcher you had now plays for extreme! Period. As a matter of fact my oldest has competed against Mizuno - Garcia, Breeze 99' and Nevada Lightning 99' (pretty sure thats were all your catchers played in the past) since 10U and has a winning record against all of them so maybe you can figure out who I am and come talk to me bud. I dont have time to stand around behind the backstop with my chest puffed out and arms crossed making myself look more important than I am!
