what was the blackmailer thinking? could he really get money from a man like Dave?

Look, we ALL make mistakes. Some are big, huge mistakes. I am sure he regrets his behavior. I admire the way he has handled the situation. Instead of being bullied, and cowering in a corner somewhere, feeling threatened and being a victim, he chose to go on the offense and turn the tables on the blackmailer. Yes, the world now knows of his shameful behavior. But I'm sure he has learned a tremendous amount from this whole experience, and he and his wife can try and work through this and move on.
