Ding, ding, ding - we have a winner! Are you old enough to remember when that saying was popular?

Apparently I am better at TV trivia than football picks.....

A man's got to know his limitations.

That's from one of my favorite movies...The Outlaw Josey Wales. Go Steelers...

Right actor, wrong movie. Hell, wrong genre. Here's a clue - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VrFV5r8cs0...

Josey Wales had lots of great lines, like "Dyin' ain't much of a livin', boy."

I'm slippin' in my older age. Thanks for clarifying.

Week 17

- Battle's 'Boys (13-2) @Giants, Bucs, Lions, @Eagles
- Patriots (13-2)

- jtat's Raiders (12-3) @Chiefs, @Chargers, Colts, @Broncos

- Chiefs (11-4)

- FPD's Steelers (10-5) @Bills, @Bengals, Ravens, Browns
- Dolphins, Falcons and Giants (10-5)

- Seahawks (9-5-1)

- Sam's Packers (9-6) Seahawks, @Bears, Vikings, @Lions
- Lions and Texans (9-6)

- PDad's Broncos (8-7) @Titans, Patriots, @Chiefs, Raiders

- eclipse's Chargers (5-10) @Panthers, Raiders, @Browns, Chiefs

- JR's Jets (4-11) @49ers, Dolphins, @Patriots, Bills

Our teams only went 4-3 because the Chargers lost to the winless Browns. We're now 11-10 with a max possible of 6 wins in the final week due to Raiders @ Broncos. So, Battle's 14 is still looking good along with jtat's 15. fpd's 16 is a longer shot. JR's 13 and my 17 are barely breathing (see video). eclipse's 19 was taken off life support and officially eliminated.

PDad, if 15 is the winning number I still beat you... right? That's all I really want...

Well...that and the Cowboys to win at least one or two playoff games.

No, it's closest without being under... jk

That's all I really want...
What happened to "I want to win outright"? Were you lying then or now? Odds are you will do both. I need both Packers and Steelers to win as expected and at least 2 upsets by Cowboys, Chargers and Jets to keep your 14 from finishing ahead of my 17. Chargers owe us an upset after losing to the Browns,,,

Well...that and the Cowboys to win at least one or two playoff games.

Winning one would be their first Divisional playoff win in 21 years. My how time flies...

I need four wins, and I'd pick four based on this week's match-ups, but this week could be tricky:

- Get one for sure with Raiders/Broncos. Big game for the Raiders, but Carr out/McGloin in is a huge wild-card. I think the Scranton Scrapper will be OK, but could be an ugly game. Will the Denver defense outscore the offense again?

- Gotta figure Pittsburgh gets a win here, but could something weird happen since this is essentially a meaningless game for them?

- The Cowboys beat the Eagles any other week, but this is another meaningless game. I'm surprised that they're 5.5 point 'dogs, though.

- Packers/Lions will be a good one. Hopefully, the Pack takes care of business.

- Chiefs are obvious favorites, but I still think (hope) the Chargers are capable of an upset - even after last week's debacle.

- I wouldn't pick the Jets over anyone the way they're playing the last month of the season, but the Bills made a "business decision" to sit their QB, and they're playing their first game after firing Rex, so anything could happen here, too.

Oh I still want to win outright but I told you that I was going to beat you at this. I'm just trying to figure out what qualifies as beating you....

Probably too much to ask for a playoff win but I'm crossing my fingers... :ugeek:

Well, we know the 'boys first opponent will be the #6 Lions if they upset the #3 Seahawks on Saturday. Otherwise, they will play the winner of Sunday's #4 Packers vs #5 Giants game.

C'mon Battle, quit setting the bar so low and tell us what you're really thinking... e.g. the Cowboys margin of victory in the Super Bowl.
