It's tough when close to home

Not for us - you're the one that gets his panties in a wad whenever anyone posts something less than flattering about any of your cherished institutions.

Once again, I'm not sure what point you're trying to make with the link since it is a fairly long article that touches on several topics. You seem to be going blackwidow on us by just posting links...

- I disagree with the actions taken by the UCLA administrators, especially doing it prior to completing their investigation.

- It's easy to criticize them by focusing on the free speech aspect, however there is also a competing anti-discrimination aspect and it is extremely difficult/impossible to accommodate both. This is akin to the conflict between Christian photographers and gay couples, which I don't believe has been settled properly.

How about what happened at another SoCal college - Amid racial bias protests, Claremont McKenna dean resigns? Please demonstrate your critical thinking skills by reading up on it and communicating clearly your take on it.

The UC system was at one time an excellent educational system.

I am guessing the protestors' majors are General Studies, Gender Studies, Minority Studies, ________(fill in the blank) Studies. Students that would not have been admitted in if it weren't for these made up majors.

Not to worry, re-educational efforts have begun at the University of Vermont.

The University of Vermont held a three-day retreat so students could confront their “white privilege.”

A great article by a student from the BLM incident. http://www.dartreview.com/eyes-wide-ope ... e-protest/

Btw. Blacks make up about 7% of Dartmouths student body(less than 300 students). From the video it looks like they all may be there
