Because guess what? Lower tax rates actually increase Federal revenues. The Dems always want to repute this fact but it has been shown time and time again to be true.

The real problem with this undisputable fact is that producers see taxes as the way to provide the goverment with funds for providing necessary services while liberals see taxes as punishment for being successful.

Not picking on you, Dugout Dad. If we think about it, and this is my personal opinion, I don't hire/elect anyone EVER to be my leader. I hire/elect these people to serve. These people are not or rarely are leaders.

There was a recent local election in my city where a candidate expounded what a leader she would be. She was there at the polling station and pronounced that she was the better candidate because she was the best leader. I told her I vote for those who want to serve the people and not those who want to be elected to lead/rule and treat the people as ignorant subjects. She was dumbfounded as I told her that's what’s wrong with today’s elected officials - they have conveniently forgotten that the people rule the US and the elected are there to serve.

I heard so many times from liberals during the presidential primaries - how the President will rule over the USA. I think this explains a lot.

I'll use one word to explain my use of the phrase "our dear leader" = sarcasm. The Chinese Communist refer to the their president as "our dear leader" hence the use of the term.
