I also grew up with the Rams (60's) and Merlin Olsen was one of my favorites. As a freshman in HS, I was #74. Twenty years ago he was a customer of ours and was always a pleasure to talk to. He will be missed.

Bridging this topic back to softball, Merlin Olsen was a college All American at Utah State. The same Utah State that beat #1 ranked Washington this season in softball.

Great players do great things no matter what college they go to, and Merlin Olsen is a great example for all of our DD's as they pursue thir dreams beyond Travel ball.

Not everybody gets to play in the Pac-10, Big 12, Big-10 or SEC. Merlin Olsen came out of Utah State and made the world a better place.
