lol. What's a liberal's definition of a landslide? A plurality of the vote.

B.J. Clinton never once received a majority of the vote, despite running against pathetic opposition. But to liberals...landslide!

Maybe that's why the polls always have libs running 5 to 15 points better than they actually do on election day. In liberalland, 2 points = 12 points.

So, for instance, although Reagan beat Carter by 10 points in 1980, an Oct. 27 Gallup poll had Carter leading by 3 points. And when Reagan drubbed Mondale by 19 points in the biggest landslide in history, October polls showed Mondale within 4 points. And then of course there were the erroneous exit polls predicting a Kerry victory 4 years ago (just coincidentally released in time to impact western voter turnout ).

So now we have one of the lamest Republican candidates in recent memory, handicapped by an incumbent Republican president with abysmal approval ratings, and yet the latest Gallup poll of likely voters has Obama leading only 49-47...or within the statistical margin of error. Some landslide.
