Isn't this the MO for most politicians, left or right?
Is a question not the most humble form of communication? I'll accept any answer, regardless of what it is.

Politicians...good point. They are mostly whores. But there is more generally a huge difference between liberals and conservatives on the subject. Liberals don't care who or what gets trampled in service of their utopian agendas.

Liberals will flat out say that the union workers should get that money, law and contracts be damned. For conservatives, however, unpredictability is anathema. Rule of law first and foremost, because predictability allows one to order one's affairs and make reasoned choices.

Skarp, stop using your brain so much. The only "choice" a lib believes in, is between life and death of an unborn baby. Oh, but if it's a death row inmate, then life is the only choice for the POS murderer.

Let's club them like baby seals and make lamp shades out of their skins.
