Btw, guns are banned in Mexico. OOPS

Check out this murder rate chart for all countries, based on what our MSM tells us, one would think we were in the top five. No, the USA is way down the list. (you may have to click on the assending/desending rate button, the USA is at 4.2)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_intentional_homicide_rate

Not sure I would use this...... U.S. has a higher murder rate than either Iraq or Palestine and is about 4 times greater than Western Europe(although it used to be ten times greater)

Makes the case, every Mohammed, Matloob, and Harry in Iraq and Palestine are carrying and are locked and loaded. Every criminal there knows that the people they rob will fire back.

Another example, Venezuela is also a gun free society, their murder rate is 45.1, also, Jamaica is at 52.2

Remember, the US murder rate is 4.2

Chicago, the most gun and ammo law restricted city in the U.S. has a third world murder rate of 30.

You are too selective with your examples..

compare us against Germany, France Czech Republic....

NYC has the most restrictive gun laws in the country and is by far the safest large city in the country(Most of their success has come from very proactive police work against violent criminals)

Our murder rate(4.2) is around the same as it was in 1958. Way down down its peak of 12.5(early 90's ?), but still by far the worst of all of developed countries. Do you think 4.2 is OK?

I am not some left wing whoosie( I'm a right leaning, republican banker, veteran who qualified "expert" on the M16A1(and A2) I fully support the second amendment, but would love to see some common sense gun laws and would love to see the NRA be part of it. I find the comments by most of the left regarding guns to be very ignorant, but are sometimes worried by those on the far right with "bunker" mentalities.

compare us against Germany, France Czech Republic....Don't really want to compare the USA to Europe, yuck

NYC has the most restrictive gun laws in the country and is by far the safest large city in the country(Most of their success has come from very proactive police work against violent criminals) Thank you Mr. Giuliani

Unfortunately, there is a price for freedom, it is not perfect. I would say the murder rate for NRA members is probably close to zero, but the MSM says they are the bad guys

You sound like a thinking patriot.

I like that "Thinking Patriot" :D

Don't look too down on Europe. For all their faults, there are many things we can learn from them-especially the Germans!(just as I think there are many things they can learn from us) having spent some time there, we have far more in common than we have differences

I don't look down on Europe, it is a nice place to visit. America needs to remain America, after all, who will rescue our European brothers when their insistent experimentation with socialist fails and we have to rescue them?

Democrats are the same today as they were back in their KKK years. They just changed their modus operandi. They learned that, with the help of the Jesse Jacksons, Al Sharptons of the world, they can keep their black constituents on the democrat plantation even while these same people witness the utter destruction of their families and way-of-life. Ole Jesse and Al are just the modern-day slave trader in a way. Selling their brothers and sisters while being handsomely rewarded monetarily along the way. Remember, it was fellow African tribes selling other tribe members to the Dutch slave traders.
Democrats want to give Blacks and Mexicans just enough to keep them dependant on them (the free stuff) and by doing so, making it impossible for them to achieve the wealth status of their democrat plantation owners. Do the White Elitist Democrats really want Blacks and Mexicans moving next to them.....no they don't. Why do you think Democrats built and created the projects and section 8 housing?

Did you know that Martin Luther King was denied a gun permit after his house was bombed, democrats believed he was a questionable person.

Like I said before, I am Mexican, and I have encountered vile and racist people in my lifetime and most of them have been democrats.

That is the best characterization of Sharpton and Jackson I have read.

Did anyone hear about this story on the MSM? Yeah, I didn't either, crickets.

5 bullets to the head and neck did not put this guy down, but it stopped him.

Great job mom!
