Yeah, I thought I felt someone behind me as the ball hit the fence.

Your two were 4-11 combined (.363) with 5 runs scored. By most standards, not a bad day. Dad's standards, well...

I'm unsure about my partner's plans.

Actually Dad's standards have to do with seeing smiles on their faces after the games - and now that you mention it, there was.

Personally as a manager I will take a blind umpire over a delusional parent any day.

If you're a manager, its in name only.

The sad thing about Walter is that he really thinks he is good. Talk about delusional.

With 6 comments you already know what 'typical' is - wow, quick learner. No, my wanna be smart ass response is pointed at - if you are a manager, and you have a delusional parent, dump them. Having a good group of families and kids when you coach is fun - a whacko dad, even one with lots of money and a GLM, will ruin it.

By typical I mean boards in general not necessarily this one. And honestly I wish i could have dumped half of them but I'm talking the ever dreaded "rec ball". 6 years between my son and daughter and honestly I'm glad to say this "should" be my last. Can wait to sit on the bench and watch her play for better managers than me (I hope). Anyway I have hijacked your thread enough.

Like I'm sure you know, a successful season at that age is one where they cant wait to play the next year.

Wasn't a judgement call, the blue is always wrong on those ;) , I thought it was a blown judgement call but there was a rule that covered it and I found out too late to apologize. I always feel like when you have time to apologize and you do - it almost covers up the embarrassment - but when you find out too late...

I remember those days. I just refuse to believe I was ever wrong...it helps me sleep well at night...
