........Well at least in the top ten
I'm not a Detroit Tigers fan, but this is wrong! You have to feel for the kid.

Yea, I was watching at the time and that was BRUTAL! What an unbelievable catch in centerfield to get them to that point and then for that to happen... You don't have to break his knees though. If you heard the interview after the game, the umpire sounded like he was almost in tears.

Come on Spazsdad ... don't sugar coat it ... tell us how you really feel !

I was watching the Mets game when the announcers said that the ruling was that he missed first base ... obviously not so

Sucks big time. The ump already admitted he blew it...and will have to live with it forever, says, "I cost that kid a perfect game". Feel bad for Galarraga...and umpire Jim Joyce.

Before we call it the worst all time, lets remember the 1985 world series call at firstbase that cost the Cardinals a world championship.....Now that was bad. And while I'm thinking of it, are you kidding me with all these perfectos????That would have been the 3rd in a month after 18 in 120 years.

What about appealing to home plate ump to see if he got different angle. not sure if that is done in baseball. i know i've seen it done in softball, and overturned many times...
Deserve's got nothin' to do with it.

The ump had the option to take 30 seconds and watch a replay but he refused.. someone should put that guy in protective custody this morning..

pretty sure baseball only uses replays on questionable home run calls.
