Yeah ... feeling better than before, but still not human ... The fever seems to return at night ... hocking up lougies and the head ache/ back ( lung ) ache are persisting ... Trying still to not do the doctor/antibiotic route ... I had gained 26 pounds before my hip surgery 2 years ago and afterwards dropped 16 of them ... The last 10 have been hanging tough ... Maybe there will be a positive side effect from all this ....

Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy.

I have been using the Irish flu shots, few a night, seems to be doing the job. I increase the dosage when I feel flu symptoms coming on.

Came crashing through my office the past few weeks- knocked out myself and several of my colleagues(and customers) for weeks, I was out for three days and in bed. Felt like someone beat me with a stick. I did not get a flu shoy(something my wife keeps reminding me of) Still have a cough two weeks after.

Yesterday was the first day I noticed the presistent cough was subsiding ... so, like 3 weeks after the other symptoms left ? ... My mates cough lasted about 2 weeks after ...

Dugout Dad - I think I mentioned in the OP that I too was self medicating ... That usuallly does the trick being 190 proof meds ... But this year the bug snuck around the meds ...
