CALIFORNIA THUNDER OC was started by Murray Sportsman one of the coaches of the original 1991 California Thunder 16U ASA National Championship team, founded by Tom Tucker of Glendora, California. Tom has endorsed California Thunder OC and their plans to continue the philosophies and traditions of the original program. California Thunder OC will be based in La Habra, California.

Marcus Gutierrez has 24 years coaching experience in youth sports, with an emphasis on baseball and softball.

CALIFORNIA THUNDER OC has expanded their organization to include 10U and 16U teams.

CALIFORNIA THUNDER OC is pleased to accept the endorsement and support of 3-time Olympic Gold Medalist and California Thunder alumnus, Leah O'Brien-Amico. Leah will be acting in a consulting, mentoring and advisory capacity.
