Yes it is a nice day for ball!!!!!!!! yes cat is there and also alot of other schools. Lots of play out there.Who is the top three ????????
It was a beautiful weekend, a little chilly by Texas standards in the morning, but afternoons.... wow, it doesn't get any better.
Great turnout from the college coaches, best we've seen all fall. And if any of them lurk out here, on behalf of all the parents - thanks for coming out - it's hard to be away from home, but we push our kids to write y'all and its fantastic when you show up to watch. We had 6-10 coaches at all of our games, even the 8:00am one. And another special thanks to all the volunteers who got the fields ready to go. For those that don't live here, we got the mother of all rainstorms on Thur and to get the fields ready to go (all of them) for the Friday games was a heck of an accomplishment.
I couldn't begin to comment on who the best 3 are: We played some excellent teams from back East, and some from right here in Tx. It was a great weekend. DD is worn out, but happy that some coaches to whom she she wrote to came to see her play, and that several of her older teammates got official visit offers or initial contact from schools they hadn't even considered. Besides the wonderful charity work that this tourney supports, that's what it's all about...
